FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE – (CLP) The responsibility for monitoring and driving business is no longer the sole domain of the accounting department but all employees are accountable for the organization’s financial well-being. Financial Intelligence is a back-to-basics course that’s perfect for learning how to read, interpret, and analyze the most commonly used accounting instruments. Managers will benefit from understanding the financial consequences of their decisions and, in doing so, be more able to contribute to planning and strategy discussions. This is a two-hour CLP course. This course qualifies for IAIP Education hours for CLP, DAE and CIIP designations.
BALANCING PRIORITIES – (Advanced CLP) In our increasingly competitive world, we all need to be more productive than ever. Not only must we do our jobs in less time and with fewer resources, but we also often work for more than one boss and on more than one team. As a result, we may face conflicting tasks, deadlines, and expectations, making it difficult to identify what’s most important. Furthermore, the transformations in our workplaces brought about by technology have increased the speed and complexity of our work. This course will enable you to properly prioritize your obligations, allowing you to improve performance and productivity. As a result, you’ll also achieve a better work/life balance, minimize the stress related to managing your tasks efficiently, and, ultimately, improve working relationships. This is a four-hour Advanced CLP course. This course qualifies for IAIP Education hours for CLP renewal and CLP-A.

Join Dr. Claire Muselman on Saturday, June 11, as she digs into the science behind why burnout is affecting women at incredible rates and why we ‘missed’ this happening! She will dig into the why and how of the invisibility of women in modern society and how an expanded lens can assist in organizational growth, stability, and fulfillment as a whole.
We will discuss different strategies and techniques to assist us in overcoming adversity.
Let’s take a look at the crucial background elements needed to support your agency’s security infrastructure. In this session, we’ll review tools that can make a huge impact on reducing the risk of a cyberattack within your agency. • Application Management Finding answers to the specific business challenges you face through efficiency, integration and security (Microsoft Azure) • Custom Security Awareness Enable your business to manage security issues through social engineering, phishing tools and automated security awareness (KnowBe4) • Logging Tools If an agency is breached and an incident response plan is needed, event logs are crucial to determine where the compromise started and how (Splunk, etc.) • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) Develop an overall encompassing framework with centralized security monitoring for your agency’s cloud and premise networks.
This session will focus on insurance coverage for intellectual property claims. As you know, Coverage B of a standard commercial general liability policy provides coverage for “Personal and Advertising Injury,” which encompasses, among other things, certain types of intellectual property violations. The session will provide attendees with an understanding as to what intellectual property is, what types of intellectual property claims may be covered, how to evaluate coverage for such claims, and best practices for managing and directing the defense of such claims.
This discussion will discuss the pros and cons of various ways to use voice and/or electronic control in managing your home.
The course will identify some of tools and types of data that analysts use. We will examine some of the issues impacting society today to see what the data is telling us about emerging risks and how those risks are trending to look at how the insurance industry can best respond to those risks and their insurability.
TBD
Culture Shift: focusing on developing open communications and team accountability
TBD
Dealing with Conflict – specific types of negative personalities and methods for working with them, i.e., the bully, the whiner, the gossip, etc.

What’s Holding You Back: A look at the logistical and psychological roadblocks that hold us back from stepping into leadership roles
